The school also has strong ties to other sectors in the region, such as the Association of Wood Industry Employers in Valverde del Camino and Barrameda. These associations are vital in the future of the wood industry in Andalusia and Spain.

During the research, 10 companies in Andalusia took part. In addition to assessing their production processes, they also looked at their management practices. For example, the group studied the way in which the pilot Andalusian Furniture companies operate. They developed a tool that enabled them to implement a Quality Management System. This tool will ultimately help these companies implement a Quality Management System in accordance with international legislation. Moreover, the project aims to improve the quality costs of these companies.
